Toyota's massive recall has become a a public relations nightmare for the company (not to mention a source of schadenfreude for Detroit's beleaguered automakers). Bizmore blogger Ira Wolfe wrote an insightful analysis of Toyota's failure to use its Facebook page to minimize the damage. Wolfe believes all businesses, large and small, can rein in big problems like this one, long before they arise.
Wolfe followed up Monday with reasons why your company should embrace — not fear — Facebook. While some companies are hesitant about social networking as a means to grow or control their brand, Wolfe argues that ignoring services like Facebook or Twitter is no longer an option for any business.
